I got out for my first race a week or so ago. It was great fun. The poor AM radio got a bit of glitching, so that's next on the list for replacement.
Electric off-road is pretty low-key at CMR, so it was good as I had NO idea which way was up. The guys were awesome and made sure I was moving in the right direction (well, when I was right side up)
I threw the swing shaft in both heats I had, which was a bugger. They are after-market items and a little short I think. I added slightly longer spacers in the rear shocks so hopefully the adjustment to the drrop will stop it popping out again.
Got my Reedy 20 Turn skimmed by one of the guys from the track too. Going to get that baby in soon and tear up some tread :)
I have come to the conclusion that racing is about 100 to 200 times better than bashing. As long as you're not too serious about it.
